The Great Ticket War
As part of the Written Communications (COM 300) module's individual graded assignment, I was tasked to pick a relevant problem/ social issue and write a researched persuasive opinion piece for The Straits Times Interactive or for a credible publication.

As a concertgoer and enthusiast, I decided to write about the increased difficulty many people in Singapore face when it comes to securing concert tickets in the post-pandemic period. With Singapore slowly establishing itself as a regional concert hub, this is an issue that raises concerns given the buzz it has generated for global musicians like Coldplay and Taylor Swift.

Behind Closed Doors: The Realities of Mistreatment in K-pop
As part of the Contemporary Korean Popular Culture & the Korean Wave (AS 345) module's individual graded assignment, I was tasked to write an analytical essay and the freedom to discuss any topics or aspects related to Korean Popular Culture and the Korean Wave.

As a K-pop enthusiast, I wanted to discuss the complex issue of mistreatment K-pop idols experience in their entertainment companies. Despite K-pop enjoying global success, the challenges and exploitation faced by idols under their contracts are often overshadowed by their glamourous lives.
